Release Announcement: Telegraf 1.14.2

A new maintenance release for Telegraf is available now.

This maintenance release of Telegraf includes improvements to the following plugins:

1. SQL Server Input (sqlserver)
   • Trimmed the whitespace from the instance tag in SQL Server input
2. AWS Cloudwatch Input (cloudwatch)
   • The Cloudwatch Input Plugin now uses the increased AWS Cloudwatch GetMetricData limit of 500 metrics per call
3. SNMP Input (snmp)
   • Fixed an issue with 64-bit integer to string conversion in the SNMP Input Plugin
4. Elasticsearch Input (elasticsearch)
   • Fixed an issue with reporting shard indices in the Elasticsearch Input Plugin
5. Kapacitor Input (kapacitor)
   • Fixed a typo for the gc_cpu_fraction field of the Kapacitor Input Plugin
6. Azure Monitor Output (azure_monitor)
   • Fixed the limit on dimensions in the Azure Monitor Output Plugin
7. InfluxDB Output (influxdb)
   • No longer retries create database when using database_tag if it is forbidden by the server
8. JSON Serializer (json)
   • Fixed an issue to ignore fields with Not a Number or Infinity floats in the JSON serializer
9. InfluxDB Line Protocol Parser (influx)
   • Allows CR and FF inside of string fields in the InfluxDB Line Protocol Parser
